GUEST SPEAKERS
Monica Jennings Woodard is the Operations Director and Behavioral Health Manager at HealthWorks, supporting Patient Access Advocates, Intake and Eligibility, Case Management, Care Management, Behavioral Health and the Mobile Health Clinic. As Operations Director, Monica can frequently be found working with frontline staff to improve processes for staff and patients. She has over 24 years of combined experience in healthcare and social services and a passion for addressing social determinants of health (including language access advocacy) to promote healthy and thriving lifestyles. She is a Healthy U Chronic Care Management instructor teaching others how to set goals and achieve them. Within HealthWorks, she is most proud of fostering positive team dynamics across disciplines where employees work together and are eager to collaborate and work efficiently with accuracy. As a leader, she is a wellness advocate and understands the value of ensuring that one takes care of themselves to be able to share life and joy with others.
Karla Dieters is a Behavioral Health Therapist who was born and raised in Wyoming. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her master’s in social work from the University of Wyoming. Karla is currently employed at Healthworks in Cheyenne. She has been providing behavioral health services since 2013 and works with a wide variety of individuals utilizing strengths-based, supportive therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR.
